Welcome to my critical research journal for the MA in Photography I am studying at Falmouth University. I begin this journey with an interest in how photographs trigger emotions in people. What makes people go wow, yuk, shudder in horror or laugh and why? I am also curious about the relationship between the written narrative of a scene and a photograph of it and vice versa.
